9/11
I think the left hates the 9/11 media reruns because it proves them wrong about almost everything. I think the reruns show us that George Bush was exactly the president we needed then. The left cannot bear the thought or stand to hear the applause he gets from victims families compared to the silence they give Obama.
Did anyone else notice that when Obama was reading from the bible at the NY memorial and the passage talked about weapons including bows as in bows and arrows, Obama pronounced bow as in a dog barking Bow Wow? Is it just me? Was he talking about a boat?
I think the rerunning of reality disturbs the left and they have to scramble to explain why it makes them uncomfortable. The media attention to replaying the actual events, the bodies falling from the tower exposes how foolish is the foundation upon which they rest their political choices.
Let me say the foolishness is about straight line thinking - a lack of flexibility -- an inability to see the shades in between and use them --a need for the same response to every similar occurrence -- the need to see individuals as saints or sinners according to their political affiliations -- a need to see institutions and organizations as monoliths instead of being composed of different constituencies with conflicting interests -- a need to put specific constituencies before the common good - an inability to appreciate the good as well as criticize the corrupt. But most of all, the foolishness is about an inability to change with the times and situations.
The nature of the beast was made too clear on 9/11 for the left and most of the political class in this country. Women however learned a great deal to their benefit.
