Impeach Obama
That is an impeachable offense.
Too bad all the millionaires in congress support amnesty.
At last, a way out. Impeachment will give us a democrat in the presidency whereas an election will result in a reactionary. Neither is a good outcome but anything is better than this liar and deceiver we have now. Any democrat is better than Obama. Write to your legislators -- ask for impeachment.
Rachel Maddow was especially sickening tonight shilling for BO like some PC lapdog (as she always does). BO is such a victim according to Maddog. "BO has deported more illegals than any other president", Maddow shouts. Yeah, because we now have more illegals in this country than at any other time in history. Maddow avoids discussing percentage of deportations to size of illegal population present in this country. She believes her audience is composed of the dumb and dumber. And the big PC boot licking fool wants more more -- the children, she shrieks, the US needs these illegals -- our country was built on illegals. Maddow makes FOX look fair and balanced. And the hysterical tone with which Maddow shouts her twisted spin is like chalk on a blackboard. Do even liberal, left lesbians watch this fool?
Bowing to pressure from immigrant rights activists, the Obama administration said Thursday that it will halt deportation proceedings on a case-by-case basis against illegal immigrants who meet certain criteria, such as attending school, having family in the military or having primary responsible for other family members’ care. (KEEP THOSE BORDER BABIES COMING SO YOU CAN BE A SINGLE MOTHER RESPONSIBLE FOR OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS - - WE HAVE AFDC, FOOD STAMPS, AND MEDICAL CARE FOR FREE -- WE WILL JUST TAKE IT FROM CITIZENS OVER 65)
The move marks a major step for President Obama, who for months has said he does not have broad categorical authority to halt deportations and said he must follow the laws as Congress has written them.
But in letters to Congress on Thursday, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said she does have discretion to focus on “priorities” and that her department and the Justice Department will review all ongoing cases to see who meets the new criteria.
“This case-by-case approach will enhance public safety,” she said. “Immigration judges will be able to more swiftly adjudicate high-priority cases, such as those involving convicted felons.”
The move won immediate praise from Hispanic activists and Democrats who had strenuously argued with the administration that it did have authority to take these actions, and said as long as Congress is deadlocked on the issue, it was up to Mr. Obama to act.
Immigrant rights groups and community members rally in Los Angeles on Aug. 15, 2011, for an end to the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Secure Communities Program, which was created in 2008 and calls for police to submit suspects’ fingerprints to DHS so they can be cross-checked with federal deportation orders. (Associated Press)
“Today’s announcement shows that this president is willing to put muscle behind his words and to use his power to intervene when the lives of good people are being ruined by bad laws,” said Rep. Luis V. Gutierrez, Illinois Democrat, who has taken a leadership role on the issue since the death of Sen. Edward M. Kennedy in 2009.
The new rules apply to those who have been apprehended and are in deportation proceedings, but have not been officially ordered out of the country by a judge.
Ms. Napolitano said a working group will try to come up with “guidance on how to provide for appropriate discretionary consideration” for “compelling cases” in instances where someone already has been ordered deported.
Administration officials made the announcement just before Mr. Obama left for a long vacation out of Washington, and as members of Congress are back in their home districts.
The top House Republican on the Judiciary Committee said the move is part of a White House plan “to grant backdoor amnesty to illegal immigrants.”
White House Embraces Administrative Amnesty After Failing to get Congress on Board
FROM THE CENTER FOR IMMIGRATION STUDIES

GWEN IFILL: Cecilia Munoz, of National Council of La Raza
GWEN IFILL: Cecilia Munoz, of National Council of La Raza, you heard President Fox speak today in Milwaukee. Why is the idea of legalizing illegal immigrants who are already living here making their status legal, why is that a good idea?
CECILIA MUNOZ: Well, because we know there are significant numbers of people living and working and paying taxes in the United States, raising their families here. {PRESUMABLY AT JOBS US CITIZENS DO NOT WANT???}They're clearly needed (????? Do you HEAR this crap???) in our economy. It makes sense to bring them out of the shadows and (DEPORT THEM)give them full access to their rights (THEIR RIGHTS?????). It's a longstanding community. It's a sizable (We Know) community. It's a community whose employers (our ex-employers) tell us they want them to be able to stay permanently. It's really in our (OUR???) best interest to make sure that we bring them out of the shadows.

---------------------------------------------------------
Yesterday at 2 pm, Cecilia Munoz, White House Director of Intergovernmental Affairs and formerly of the National Council of La Raza, where she openly embraced amnesty for illegal aliens, announced a ground-breaking turn of events:
for the first time ever, the White House is usurping congressional constitutional authority to determine immigration law and policy.
Not only is the White House granting amnesty, with rumors of value-added work authorizations for illegals (with unknown identities and criminal backgrounds), but they are also making sure that immigration law only applies to those illegal aliens convicted of serious crimes. The White House is claiming that this is all fine and dandy, because, for goodness sake, the president is “aggressively searching for partners in Congress who are willing to work with him.”
Once it was clear that the bill would not get through Congress, the head of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, John Morton, (remember Morton has been given a “No Confidence” vote twice in a year by the union representing immigration enforcement agents) quickly circulated a DREAM Act-like memo about “prosecutorial discretion,” going above and beyond the Dream Act’s realm of eligible recipients for deportation relief.
Remember, the president has encouraged illegal entry and tried amnesty in a variety of cheesy-cake ways already:
•Destroying Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s ability to do their job -- the legal basis upon which this White House announcement relies -- which I have written about extensively in a series of blogs.
•By waiving grounds of inadmissibility and lessening the standards of hardship to enable those related to those legally here to enter and stay, as discussed in 2010 internal U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service lawyer memos.
•Insisting the “border is more secure than ever,” while working on a policy of “acceptable levels of illegal immigration” at the same time, all under the rubric of failing to produce a border security strategy since taking office.
The issue of criminal deportation is certainly worthwhile, but not when couched in policies that:
1.usurp immigration law;
2.usurp congressional authority to pass immigration law;
3.usurp immigration court judgments in place for deportation;
4.assure that those who are not convicted of a crime (remember, most prosecutors drop cases due to resource constraints) can stay;
5.encourage illegal entry since there is no consequence for illegal entry;
6.make the enforcement of law not based on the law, but policy, and thus inevitably not evenly applied;
7.encourage fraud and terrorist travel (for an extensive discussion of fraud related to amnesty, see Immigration and Terrorism: Moving Beyond the 9/11 Staff report on Terrorist Travel);
8.enable access to American jobs in a bleak economy through a value-added of work authorization (that is the rumor);
9.be potentially available to obtain services such as education for their children, health and welfare benefits by grant of amnesty; and
10.encourage lawlessness, including gang and drug cartel activity known to operate in every major city in the U.S.
Remember, these people too, if not convicted of a crime, are now welcomed into our communities nationwide.
HILLARY IN 2012
PROVIDING SHE DOES NOT PANDER TO THE ILLEGAL AND ORGANIZED IMMIGRATION AMNESTY GROUPS AS DO THE THE REST OF THE MILLIONAIRE DEMOCRATS.
Don't kid yourself, Hillary's daughter is a hedge fund manager married to a multi millionaire - she is not working for the poor somewhere. Hillary has shown an ability to rise above her own class interests but that has always been, like Obama, in pretty speeches. Her actual program work for women has been mediocre and confused. People say it is because she works for Obama but that is not a clear eyed analysis. Hillary has always had Mother energy not Daughter energy. Her programs are weak for women from Day One. A lot of talk but weak program.
Michele Obama has strong programs for her interest in nutrition, the latest being luring major producers to open groceries in food deserts creating 60,000 new jobs right off the bat. She has funded public gardens. Michelle created a decent school lunch nutritional program in the face of organized resistance from Agri-business which reaps huge profits from school lunch subsidies. Agi business's favorite talking point is "the Nanny state" as most of the people who use that phrase have full time nannies - an option unavailable to the working class.
Condi Rice’s global programs for women were many involving all aspects of women's oppression, with spectacular results and with Laura Bush had a deep impact in Afghanistan. ( regional women's centers, shelters, working with the army economic dev projects for widows, media projects, exchanges for education, girls schools, etc.) When Hillary became SOS, the programs were all gutted with promises of a more comprehensive women's program which never materialized. This is a blot, a stain that the screams of Hillary supporters cannot obscure. Hillary needs to apologies for this and do better.
After three years, beside strong feminist speeches all over the world encouraging women, Hillary's program for women is working with the World Bank to someday, somehow help women somewhere, starting in Papua NG. She started a woman's fund/foundation which has done a few things.
Still Hillary is so globally experienced now, and has always understood the pain of the working class, that I would like to see her in power and unleashed. If BO were impeached and Hillary became vice pres or sec of state under Biden, they could pass the IVAWA which makes women the priority in the allotment of foreign aid. If they received a majority in congress the restrictions on family planning would be eliminated. They could do a lot. I think Biden would support Hillary for president.
What if Hillary joins with these other women? Puts down false party lines and gathers in Michelle, Condi, Laura, and all the women on both sides who are pro choice and proudly feminist with experience and a record of achievement? They can implement strong programs under Hillary's leadership. Leadership is her strong point even though she is more comfortable in partnerships.
