Forgiveness
Last night on JaneVeldezMitchell, I saw a baby calf skinned alive. It was done in the barn with the other cows watching. There seemed no reason for it except for the fun of the good old boys doing it. The calf's eyes were crazed with pain, its face contorted. A USDA inspector was watching. He said, "You boys know if it was anyone else you would be in trouble for this".
I do not forgive agri business its sadism toward the animals it views as profit centers.
I do not forgive Monsanto its poisoning of our food. I do not forgive corporate and agri business importation of slave labor under the guise of diversity and human rights.
I do not forgive religion for its justification of non sustainable over population under the guise of reverence for life, these witch burners and pedophiles - their hypocritical reverence for life, these adoption profiteers.
I do not forgive BP and those who turn our water black while they rip down our forests and the Amazon rain forests, nor do I forgive the whale killers and poachers.
And I do not forgive those who stop the production of solar, wind and geo thermal energy while granting billions to the nuclear power industry. Since 1963, we have been ridiculed for saying the nuclear back up systems had no integrity, training of operators is inadequate, human error will result in unacceptable devastation, equipment can wear out without notice, corporate greed will avoid necessary expenditures, the facilities are vulnerable to natural disasters and terrorism, and there is no safe place to dispose of the waste.
I do not forgive the lies that are told in defense of the nuclear power industry
READ "Confessions of an Economic Hit Man" by John Perkins. More relevant now then when it was written.

Recently I wrote a blog entry offering a leftist critique of the ideology of “Green” environmentalism, animal rights activism, eco-friendliness, and lifestyle politics in general (veganism, “dumpster diving,” “buying organic,” etc.). I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on the matter and any responses you might have to its criticisms.
