These are the victims- Are you listening Rihanna?
Betty Jean has an excellent blog called Free Us Now. I recommend it. She has the most interesting news not the least of which is that Phillis Shaffly fell and broke her hip giving one of her anti-ERA speeches. A movement is beginning to pass the ERA. PUMA is promoting it. We only need 3 more states to ratify it.
I remember learning some millionaire funded Phyllis Shaffly to the tune of $180,000.00 when she started her Eagle Forum to fight women's liberation and the ERA. Every year he paid her $80,000 salary. This went on while most feminists were lucky to make $24,000 a year or were dependent on their husbands and boyfriends.
I remember Shaffly preached homosexuals were perverts and worse while she had her gay child living in her home.
She is the symbol of evil to me. So I enjoyed the news of her slip and fall. I am sure she will be well cared for as she recovers and resumes her work of preventing women's equality with men and her glorification of the fetuses - excellent mother that she is.
Betty Jean also has an interesting post about the corrupted NOW and a plea for involvement and reform. Interesting. But women my age are tired of reforming NOW and those second wavers who are younger are joining The New Agenda. Still, it is an interesting thought.
One way to impress NOW with the thought that there are significant numbers of women disgusted with their male left cultural relativist blather is to sign the petition demanding BO recognize the slaving of women in the Islamic theocracies as he "reaches out to Islam " as he vowed to do in his first 100 days.
Betty Jean has pictures of her daughter and a memorial on her website. I wish Betty Jean's spirit peace and success.
