LDJ: Was some deal made yet? You know there's a class war going on, but only one side, for the most part, knows it's going on and is fully engaged in it. It's heartbreaking really.

When frustrated, they turn on one another.
You create the illusion that if anyone rocks the monetary boat, everyone goes overboard.
You capsize a few real or fake boats, permanently or temporarily, to create drama, order and patience.
People kept on indefinite hold wait it out again. What trust!
Meanwhile, the oligarchy never loses control of the big boat moving along in the fog it created. It drags the country with it as it shapes the emerging global consciousness in its own image. It knows how to keep the larger social body on the edge of its survival.
The oligarchy understands the power of fog. No one can see the edges in a fog.
And look, for the most part the people are letting the oligarchy have its way. No general strike.
Just Obama and his empty words coming in and out of the fog.
It's hard to find political wisdom anywhere in Washington. Now and then a fragment emerges. Hope. Relief. Maybe that's even worse than no fragments. These fragments too are a trap. Their hypnotic injections cause people to wait for the next words coming through the fog. It's an addiction this living in the fog, waiting for these fragments.
Then we're at the next election cycle. By now the echoes of earlier mantras are enough. Nothing new allowed anymore just familiarity in the fog. The swearing in happens as usual. The cycle starts again.
But you already know all this. I'm just talking. Maybe one day I'll put it on my blog.

As to what you said about the oligarchy’s use of this manufactured economic crises – exactly – except for “Just Obama and his empty words coming in and out of the fog.”
BO is really not empty or passive. BO is an active conscious tool of the oligarchy. He works for them and they fund his ambitions.
Obama is their bought and paid for tool . The oligarchy funded his empty suit presidency and changed the primary rules when it looked like Hillary was winning.
It is Obama who is destroying what they call “entitlements” under the guise of “compromise with the repubs”. He is offering SS, Medicare and Medicaid cuts on top of the billions he has already cut.
His class, the power elites, have their pensions for their old age – they can buy the medical care they need.
It is his purpose and focused intent to restructure the economic system so that it can be more fully exploited by those who fund him.
Clearly, there is money to cure this so called crises before you have to loot SS which has never run a deficit.

Without a lot of thought, there are Big Ag subsidies,.............. dirty energy and nuclear energy subsidies,.............ending corporate tax loopholes and subsidies, ...........ending corporate tax subsidies for manufacturing overseas,.......... ending the $200,000 income cap on SS payments,…. ending the drug war and taxing drugs,..........ending subsidized pensions and medical care for federal employees including legislators and staff ( let them rely on the “entitlements”), ..............ending all foreign aid for hostile or theocratic countries (eight hundred million to Pakistan, and that is only 1/3 of what we give annually).
"Entitlement" is the word they use to make people forget that it is OUR money paid into the system that they are looting for the sake of Wall Street, K Street and buying foreign support.
My alternatives to looting SS, Medicare and Medicaid or others are never considered much less implemented because BO's focused intent is to destroy the basic right to life, liberty and health benefits, subsequently exploit the remaining US resources and convert human beings into wage slaves for the ruling class.
BO is the little boy crying wolf again -- screaming the world will end if you don't destroy rights it took decades for others to win and all the boys in the MSM echoing his cries - we must have what we want immediately - the sky is falling. Our own Chicken Little. But we won't get fooled again. He is a liar and words are his tools, nothing more.

They will “work on it” until Aug 2, so we do not know the enormity of the loss until the bill is immediately passed and signed and in effect. They will say they had no choice. It will happen just the way we were inflicted with Obama forced insurance instead of the public option.
The next election will sweep the repubs into power as the “dems” will stay home.
Unless Pelosi can start a movement. I never liked her but she is fighting against this tooth and nail so I am paying attention to what she wants from us.

LDJ: I did want to respond to your response to my response. You pose the unethical and anti-humanitarian actions of this president and congress quite well. I add nothing. Refute nothing.
But I want to clarify what I mean about Obama's voice coming in and out of the fog. I do not mean it as a life raft thrown into the water.
I mean it as the illusion of a voice, at best a pseudo life raft, one set to sink the moment people begin to mount it because it really isn't there to begin with. Yet, it's always just off in the distance.
In my statement, I'm talking about people who listen for and hear the voice coming in and out of the fog. They hear Obama's voice only, a non-voice. The illusion of the voice they think they hear. They mistaken the sounds as an echo of hope from his campaign rhetoric. Even the echo is an illusion. Thus, we have illusion built on illusion. A hope-producing machine to maintain an act of endless waiting.

Meanwhile, we expect people to tolerate the suffering going around the country. It's quite heartbreaking that so many people of this country who are not part of the elite classes depend on this voice coming in and out of the fog. This illusion of a voice. This illusion of a voice that stands in the way of the real voices capable of providing people with real tools to gain control of their economy and their dignity as well as define the work environment, the political environment, the community environment and family environment - on their own terms.
Obama's disembodied voice has been assembled together by the oligarchy. Can anyone refute this on sane terms?

Do you really think Nancy Pelosi is sincere? We must wait to find out. See what I mean? She gets us to wait. But there's always a voice that steps up, seems sincere. Then it fades back once the people are convinced some voice is in the maze that speaks for them. Everything that happens is designed to maintain the status quo and obedience. Everything is designed to not rock the profits of the wealthy.
I'm a little sick of it all today.
