Wanted by the FBI
Have you seen this man who is wanted for sex trafficking of children? Well...Gerardo Salazar, better known as "El Gallo," was allegedly the boss of a human trafficking ring. Salazar and his accomplices reportedly supplied women and girls for prostitution in Houston and Mexico during 2004 through 2005.
Salazar and his partners were such "sweet-talkers" that the victims fell prey to their deceit. After being charmed and romanced, the women came to the United States with the expectation of being Salazar's girlfriend...or his partners' sweethearts.
Once in the United States, the unsuspecting victims were allegedly raped, threatened, and beaten as their introduction into prostitution.
Wednesday, November 9, 2005, was probably a special day for many of Salazar's victims. On that day, Salazar was charged federally with sex trafficking of children in the United States District Court of Texas.
