It is snowing in Wisconsin today

It is snowing in Wisconsin today...............
It rained for three days and that has turned to snow
there is water in my basement
and the gutters are filled with bird nest materials.

My aunt passed on Friday
dreamed her on Monday night.
A long time ago, I was in the WAR
and she donated regularly,
herself a victim and survivor,
she was a working class hero.


Renewed with a woman who finds strays and locates their owners.
It is her gift to reunite.
They always find her.
And when they do, she leaps out of cars and
over tall buildings to scoop them up.
Praise to Her and Her many children and dogs and
her cat KEE-kee who says Hello instead of meow.
She busted a dog theft ring last summer and
I did not even know about it.
Right here in River City.

I love the animal saviors,
double jointed, always bending and
yes, even you my estranged sister.

I am in love with everything today,
everything is alive with wonder.
