I wrote this at Double Jointed Fingers, my true sister's place -- I reprint it here just in case you can't guess how I feel today. BTW, Double Jointed has a beautiful Hallows poem up and a link to beautiful Tarot pictures. Go there to be inspired. But now for my thoughts, not as funny or as well written as Uppity Woman's but useful.

Speaking of darkness,...Shall we thank the Democrats again, for all their empty promises, for electing their empty suit, for caring about appearance over substance, for their short term cynical self-serving thinking, for their smart leaders with all their contempt for the citizen workers of this country, for their deals with the bosses...most of all for their refusal to change the filibuster rules to force the repubs to ACTUALLY filibuster all night long instead of just threaten...so the dems could say, well it has to be a filibuster proof vote or we cannot pass it...so no public option and no health care until the next presidential election, so the insurance company have enough time to raise rates so only the rich have health care and the bosses time to dump their share of coverage...well now they can continue the "compromises" they call bi-partisanship which is their pact with the bosses (read devil) and blame the tea party when in reality they betrayed their base or the dupes who called them self their base.

And that base stayed home...watch the dems explain it away by saying we need more "compromises, the people want compromise..while the people (read working class)are shoved to real Revolution. I personally would like to thank Axelrod and Brazile. I don't care if I can't spell their names. Let history spell their names.

I am reading, "The Best Democracy Money Can Buy", by Greg Palast which is very boring but very, very instructive. So instructive I have to keep reading; my anti stress method being to just open it and start reading on the page it opens on -- what a horror is that reading about the world money barons.

About eight years ago I read, "Who Will Tell The People", by William Greider, and I saw it all clearly -- how this would all go, especially for feminism and environmentalism - animals ... Now I am ready to read another book by Greider, "One World Ready or Not", even though I know it has all happened...

Save Yourself now -- it is the best we can do -- try to help the animals...and earth where you live..we are moving toward great change. Beyond the damned dems and repo repubs - and there will be strange bed fellows.
