Procter & Gamble Acquires Natura And Loses Customers
Last month, corporate giant Procter & Gamble acquired Natura Pet Products. This month, pet stores have started dropping Natura products to protest P&G's animal testing policy.
Healthy Pets Northwest in Portland, Oregon is just one of these stores. Each Natura brand (including Innova, Evo, Healthwise, Karma, Mother Nature, and California Natural) is labeled as a P&G product - and offers the advice of an attendant about alternative products to replace them!
Please ask your pet store about alternatives to Natura's products and let them know that it appears P&G is still conducting unnecessary tests on animals, including "nutritional studies" in which they test experimental food formulas on dogs and cats in their Ohio laboratory for their other pet food brands - IAMS and Eukanuba.
