On Gov. Palin's Pregnant 17 year old Daughter

All our sexist Democrats are saying that no one should focus on Gov Palin's pregnant daughter. Yeah, there go our boys with their usual sexist response to the sexual exploitation of young girls. We can always count on Bo's boys to do the wrong thing for women.

There are of course legitimate questions as so many girls are in the same boat because of Republican policies and personal practices. Forget the Democrat bosses' shaming attempts to shut women up. The personal is political. Palin's daughter points to the lack of Democrat action on matters of reproductive concern to feminist despite their majority in Congress over the past 4 years. Sure they would prefer not to talk about it. Yes, they believe in silence. Never heard one peep from them when the media said the Clinton were pimping Chealsea or McCain said Janet Reno was her father.

One legitimate point to be made out of this failure in family parenting dynamics is; why didn't Palin's 17 year old, 5 months pregnant, daughter use and demand her partner use birth control?

Now Gov Palin and company make garlands of flowers out of a 17 year old girl giving birth instead of aborting just as they do about bringing mentally retarded babies into the world.

These politicians are wealthy and can do it without the usual consequences but they are going to make laws forcing everyone regardless of income to do it. This shows an utter disregard for the rights of everyone else in society including the child.

Mentally retarded children are the objects of disproportional abuse as they are generally more vulnerable to it all their life. Sitting ducks at every stage of their life.

As soon as the child is six the parents of defective children demand the school system admit them to Special Education classes or mainstream them which burdens every other student, teachers and especially every tax payer in the state with what is a religious decision. At the same time, the poor, who know they cannot care for more children, are denied funding for abortions.

The media should take this opportunity to do investigative reports on the average life circumstances of Dow Syndrome and mentally retarded children in the public school system and at 20, 30, 40, at 50, at 60 and at every stage in their lives, including their reproductive history. Said reports should focus the cost to taxpayers for the care of these children.

As to the 17 year old, here we have the success of Christan education policy and its' abstinence only sex education philosophy. Children get pregnant when all you teach them is "just say no". Yet Republicans have gutted the sex education programs in the public schools and replaced them with abstinence only programs. These programs have significant failure rates despite the tax payer funds still being poured into them.

Mothers have to work. They can't watch children every minute but they can sure teach them about venereal diseases prevention and contraception. The schools should at least be teaching juniors how to use condoms and where they can be purchased. They can role play assertive discussions about demanding that partners use them and respect their use as well as other forms of barrier protections.

Schools should also teach Birth Control and both sexes should be advised as to how to get BC from Planned Parenthood. That agency should be the junior field trip.

The media ought to be using this prominent Republican pregnancy to expose Republicans as not only opposed to abortion but also opposed to birth control and BC education publicly and privately. The ineffectiveness of their policies should be emphasized. Palin's daughter is the poster child along with that Simson dolt who romanticised teen pregnancy.

Hillary Clinton wants you to sign a petition because the Republican federal adm at HHS wants to classify birth control as an abortifac in order to with draw Medicaid funding from BC prescriptions. At the same time Viagra prescriptions are fully funded.

So the legitimate question to ask is why wasn't this child taught sex education and assertiveness training?

Ask if all Palin's daughter was taught is how great it is to bring any kind of fetus into the world, at any age, regardless of your financial circumstances because, after all, you can always give it away to wealthy people who cannot reproduce their own.

Oh and just ignore all the children in the Juvenile and Child protection courts. Their parents must be atheists.
