Not good news about Palin
Palin on Polar Bears: "Grossly Misinformed or Intentionally Misleading"
John McCain has been distancing himself from his previous championing of climate action as he tries to appeal to conservatives. Well, he's certainly keeping that theme with his vice presidential pick.
Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has been a champion of a different fight -- the one to try to keep the polar bear from being protected by the Endangered Species Act:
"She's either grossly misinformed or intentionally misleading, and both are unbecoming," said Kassie Siegel of the Center for Biological Diversity. "Alaska deserves better."
Siegel said it was unconscionable for Palin to ignore overwhelming evidence of global warming's threat to sea ice, the polar bear's habitat.
"Even the Bush administration can't deny the reality of global warming," she said. "The governor is aligning herself and the state of Alaska with the most discredited, fringe, extreme viewpoints by denying this."
With this pick, McCain has completely turned his back on his past leadership on global warming.

I hate them all too and I am going to write in Hillary AND join the New Democrat Party -see post below this one. I listened to the radio show tonight and called in - it was 2 hours - you can go to the website and replay it. The Greens had a good platform with Two strong African America women--but their policy [similar to Hearts on that whole lets have tea with Osama and talk peace]

If they just moved more pragmatic on solutions to foreign policy rather than this extreme 'lets just do away with all arms and live in peace with our global neigbhors' well,

well, I wrote last night really tired, the remark about the PUMA and other pro-Hilary who were all in glee over Palin was due to the many blogs I was reading,
I scroll through them daily and even today--its like, Hilary Who? Now its Palin and
I don't know, I'm not optimistic thats for sure...and I did find out,
the group of prolifers that Palin is very involved with are NOT just anti-abortion IN THE EXTREMES AND I DO MEAN EXTREMES, even in case of death, its hell with the mother and fetus comes first,
but they are opposed to BIRTH CONTROL too though they say 'its outside of their legal scope right now',
EXTREMISM, and THAT IS SCARY because that to me is just one step right there with the forced marriages which is forced pregnancy of girls-women.
I'm actually a little SHOCKED at what I am seeing on these blogs,
Look I don't like Obama either and yea, not just for women's rights but the POOR women in this country have been stabbed in the back numerous times by the Dems--why I am independent,
neither party represents me or most women like me.
But, as much as I deplore Obama's politics, I was surprised to see
just how quick so many women that I have been reading for months now, just toss all Hilary fought for aside and now its,
well there is too many radicals in the dems and I'm thinking, OK, so, what now? Are we going hard core fundie Christian now?
But then, you know something, it Dawned on me today...
can we Really be that surprised at how Easy women [generally speaking now] can just toss aside reproductive rights and Other issues that concern women when it suits them?
Look at how few feminists stand up militantly against Islamism...
and it reminded me of something I read a while back about how religions compliment each other patriarchal wise and you know, they do, in fact, religion will be the easy access for Sharia to get in,
because it will be 'under that freedom of religion' act that it will happen...besides, they [religions] might not like each other but when One can keep women subjugated, it makes it a bit easier for the others to keep Their women subjugate, if Anything,
to put those women back into the bedrooms and kitchens with child--to build up the nation-state to ward off the enemy...
which, ok I'll play devil's advocate here, just say,
OK that isn't too bad, women just forced to be pregnant, but if thats not bad enough--its then,
the reality, that ok, your job is done, you spit out the kid but don't ask us to support you or that child--exploit you, yes, abuse you,yes,
care about you,
hell no.
And in fact I confronted yet another remark by a man with his women are parasites [poor women with kids]...
but those same men, want women under their thumb having their babies and While I totally disagree with NARAL on their support of Obama,
they are dead correct that the anti-woman and anti-choice fanatics, don't care about children,

its fetuses. thats its...
and I am personally not for abortion--but I don't think any one has the right TO FORCE PREGNANCY,
it reminds me of Romania under communism, all those babies in the orphanages [in fact think I'll do some coverage on that] but,
those kids--emotional detachment syndrome but hey, it was forced, and women were abandoning babies by the hundreds.
Those kids today are street kids, messed up, many of them trafficked,
horrid and I do mean horrid stories.
I've lost faith in women, I mean, I don't know, I just think, its dismal...I hope this will pass,
I'll keep fighting because I believe so strongly, but deep down,
hope has died. And not because so much about Obama or Hilary or Palin...but a lot of things.
A lot of things has lead up to this conclusion...
Anyway, I am going to also do some writing on environment and animal rights--I am reading over the animal rights and the lack of in Islam,
will be soon writing on that. I need a break from this whole election crap anyway, LOL.

Oh, which, I have TONS of emails I have to go through on my parrot mail account And
it seems there is right now some legislation being pushed through during the election focus that is not good for animal welfare,
so I think I am going to focus on those too for a while.
Election day, my vote is no vote...or write in Hilary, but,
I am taking that day and working strictly on animal rights and something for parrots--not sure yet but working on it.
There Is a good site btw, about the saving of birds in Iraq, I have it somewhere on my archives,
will send it to you, haven't checked to see whats been going on there for a while but there Was an environmental and animal rights and conservation that one GI started.

I am personally for abortion and I think the world would be better off if 40% of the people who mindlessly breed or have children to trap a provider would abort instead.
I had a butcher abortion before it was legal. Then I was an underground abortion counselor. That is why I am not voting for McCain.

And all the Dem AHs who were trying to blackmail us with Roe are no where to be seen. Only Hillary fights on.
