Disturbing on a number of levels, including the fact that the company
Finmeccanica which recently won a contract to build
a new version of the presidential helicopter is one of
several companies trying to sell similar technology to the Mullahs.
John Pike, director of the nonprofit organization GlobalSecurity.org, said that
"I think that the Europeans would sell their grandmothers to the Iranians if they thought they could make a buck."
Is it really wise for the Bush Administration to be handing the job of solving the Mullah-Nuke-Tyranny-Dictatorship problem over to the EU and Russia?_______________________________________________
