Tammy Baldwin Supports Animal Cruelty for UW Researchers' Big Money
AFA will have two tables dedicated to animal issues at this year's Fighting Bob Fest in Baraboo Wisconsin. Please stop by and say hello to dedicated volunteers, Board members, and Co-Directors.
Saturday, September 11, 2010Sauk County Fairgrounds in Baraboo Wisconsin
We will have information, t-shirts, stickers, and petitions for you to sign.
This is also a great time to give a special thank you to Congresswoman Gwen Moore for co-sponsoring (along with 148 other House members) the very important Great Ape Protection Act (HR 1326). Rep. Moore will be a featured speaker.
Rep. Tammy Baldwin will be appearing at 9 a.m. Please be sure to let her know that we are all disappointed in her lack of support for this important bill. She has received many calls, letters, and personal requests for her support of the Great Ape Protection Act, however she has failed to support the bill, nor has she given a reason for her lack of support.
See you there! For more information about Fighting Bob Fest click here.

Update: Resolution 35
On Thursday night, Sept. 7, Dane County Supervisor Al Matano made a motion to withdraw Res 35 from the committees.
If successful, this would send the Resolution back to the full Board of Directors for consideration.
The County Board will vote on his motion on Thursday, September 16. This is a critically important vote. Dane County Supervisors need to hear from you.
Please encourage them to support Matano's motion. For more on this, and ways to help, visit MonkeysInDane.info.
