REMEMBER THIS WOMAN ? AND ALL THE HEART WARMING STORIES ABOUT HER RETURNING TO HER CAREER AS A BROADCASTER AFTER ALL THOSE YEARS OF TALIBAN RULE WHERE SHE WAS CONFINED TO HER HOME?
I remember her story - I remember her bravery going to report the news when most Afgans were still scared the Taliban would return. This is the type of political refugee that should be welcomed to the US and given immediate citizenship but instead Homeland security is busy legalizing illegal Mexican immigrants and Obama relatives already working or living here in the US.
Women fleeing Muslim patriarchy are denied political asylum. Hillary says nothing while BO says we are not in Afghanistan to do anything but protect US interests when he is asked about the new Afgan laws legalizing rape signed by KKKarzai. The media does not report BO's statement or explain its' implications. Hillary says nothing.

Well, apparently these are the "moderate" Taliban our President speaks of. We know they are moderate because they only beat her brutally instead of killing her, eh? Our President was asked today about the new law that makes it ok for husbands to rape their wives. His answer pretty much told me that his fingers are in his ears and he is humming loudly about the treatment of women in the Middle East. We are losing a battle that I fear our younger sisters aren't noticing around them.
Overall I would say that women mean as much to him as Israel does.
P.S. Your cats would be welcome in my yard any time. There has to be a special place in hell for someone who what do what was done to your cats.

Also thank you about my cats -- like all abusers he did it because it gave him pleasure in the act and because it put me in my place. I got doubly worried about Hillary when I saw how she cowtowed to their dress code during her meetings there. I longed for a woman President who would tell them to crap in their hats and put it on their heads, and show up dressed like a free American woman.
I don't know what's going on, but I do hold out some hope for Hillary because I know her to be very smart and clever at the same time. I see her above the Obama fray and wonder what she's thinking. I just don't think that at this time in her life, after her Bejing speech and her other efforts to make her feelings known about Women's Rights, that she would give it all up for this job.
Don't tell me she covered her head -- link me to the picture. Condi Rice never covered her head. Hillary gutted the Office of International Women's Issues of all the republican feminist who had set up a network of women fighting Muslim oppression. She now has a spokesMAN who is a woman who called herself a spokesman. Hillary sold out women. That is her legacy. She will shut up and do as she is told while Obama legitimizes the oppression of women under the banner of cultural relativism.

No she did not cover her head. She was wearing some kind of odd wrap. She was sitting down and a few of us commented how odd her garb was. I only got to see the upper part of her body.
